The Catlins Area School benefits from a well stocked, vibrant, spacious Library and an exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable Librarian. The Library is split into age-appropriate sections and carries most of the books students will require for their studies, and when reading for pleasure. National Library orders can be placed if you require a special book and suggestions for purchases are gladly received.

The Library is available during the school day for classes, quiet study and computer access. It is also open each lunchtime from 1.30 - 2 pm with a variety of activities available including games, puzzles, colouring books and of course, lots and lots of books.

Anyone is welcome to borrow books from our school library, including pre-schoolers – just contact the school and Mrs McPhee will put you on our library database.
