Pet Day

The Catlins Area School Pet Day is held every year in Term 4, usually when the weather has warmed up a little, and it's a great way for our rural community to come together. Animals of all shapes and sizes, from horses to dogs and lambs to geese are shown off and judged. Pets are judged on everything including leading and handling, with champion rosettes given out to ponies, calves, lambs and dogs.

Pet day is supported and organised by Annie Jackson and her team at Clutha Vets, with a huge effort needed to assure the day goes off without a hitch.
