Touch, Sports Extravaganza & Twilight Netball

Touch

The final grading game was played last night with the Crackers having a convincing 9-1 win. The Crusaders had a 5-all draw, and the Cobras a 6-4 win. The Crushers had a narrow loss of 3-4.  Keep an eye out for the full season draw which is expected to be out in the middle of next week.

Reminders:

  • If players can not play for whatever reason please contact Tania, it becomes difficult to field teams when players don’t arrive when expected.
  • Touch fees are now due, $15 for Teeny Touch players and $25 all other players. 
  • All Touch communication i.e. draws, cancellations, transport information is updated weekly on the closed Facebook page. If you have not already joined, please contact Tania for more details.  

Good luck to Cooper Cleland, he will be attending Otago age group Touch Trials this Sunday in Dunedin!


Sports Extravaganza

On Thursday a Google form email was sent to parents of ALL Year 2-6 students regarding an upcoming event to be held in Balclutha.   Due to the large scale planning, the organisers require this information if you have child/ren in Years 2-6. Please check emails and complete the form by Monday 21st October.

Twilight Netball - LAST CHANCE !!!!  Entries close on Monday  

We would like to get a Twilight Netball competition up and running at our school netball courts in Term 4 for 6 weeks. This would happen on a Wednesday night, starting week 3 and end week 8 (30 Oct - 4 Dec) and include students from Year 7 & up, parents, teachers and anyone else who would like to come and have a bit of fun and get fit at the same time.

So far only two teams have been confirmed and entered! There has been a lot of talk about entering teams but NOT confirmed, so if keen contact Fiona ASAP to ensure this event goes ahead and can create the draw [email protected]
