Seamless symmetry

Seamless symmetry

Room 1 has been learning the basic shapes and how symmetry is all around us!

In Room 1 with Mrs McDougall, tamariki have been learning all about shapes, leaning to name shapes such as a triangle and then other everyday things that have 'tri' such as tricycle and triceratops. With basic shape knowledge they have now moved onto symmetry. Venturing outdoors learners have been exploring and foraging to find leaves, flowers, and petals with symmetry.  During the week everyone made symmetrical pictures with foam shapes. Ka pai!
