Road Safety Billboard Competition

Road Safety Billboard Competition

NZ Police and Clutha District Council recently held a competition to design a road safety billboard. Lead by our SADD (Students against dangerous driving) representative, Lisa Hooker, some of our Year 10 and 11 students created entries.

I'm pleased to announce that The Catlins Area School had two successful, winning entries, both of which will be made into billboards. One billboard will be in Owaka, the other in Clinton.

The designs were created by Dannielle Mason, Bronte Williams, Lauren Grant and Ebony Cooper. Our students were visited by representatives from Clutha District Council and NZ Police yesterday and awarded with Certificates and Prize Packs from the sponsors of the competition.

Well done to the successful students, we're very much looking forward to seeing your billboards in place sometime in the new year!
