TCAS makes a splash at South Otago Swim Meet

Eight primary aged students showed off their talents at the Balclutha Centennial Pool on Tuesday night with some fantastic times!

Khloe Dawkins, William Perrin, Jacquelyn Barrett, Juliet Wilson, Kat Cameron, Lola Povey, Harry Lietze and Mika Nakajima represented TCAS in their chosen events at the annual SOPSA Swim Meet on Tuesday night. 50m of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and a relay were all on offer with TCAS being represented once again in all styles. 2024 saw some fantastic Personal Bests, as well as some swimmers racing for their first time.

TCAS had some fantastic results where seven of these students qualified for the Otago Swim Champs to be held on the 7th of April in Dunedin. All swimmers did TCAS proud with their sportsmanship, conduct and swimming ability. Thank you to our fantastic managers Kerri Nakajima and Robyn Lietze, and to our parents who helped time-keep and cheer us on. Ka pai te mahi!
