A caretaker is required for The Catlins Area School for up to 15 hours per week, Permanent Part-time.

The main duties of the Caretaker position include: Care and maintenance of the school grounds, BWOF compliance checks and administration, rubbish duties and securing the school. 

We seek a positive person who will take pride in ensuring the grounds and buildings are maintained in a safe, clean and attractive manner. We are looking for someone with practical skills who shows initiative and can work without close supervision.  A background in relevant trades would be an advantage. Height training and chemical handling preferable or prepared to train. A full driver's license and the ability to drive a tractor on uneven terrain is essential.
