An opportunity exists for a Samoan Support Worker to support students and staff at The Catlins Area School. This is a 5 hours per week, term-time only position. It is fixed term, for one year, commencing in Term 1, 2024.

The successful applicant will ideally have a high level of literacy in Samoan and in English and have a deep understanding of the cultural and social aspects of NZ, especially in education. You will have experience in giving guidance and support to Samoan students and other groups and be mindful of confidentiality issues when working with students.
