Last assembly for the year

Last assembly for the year

It is always a highlight to reach the end of the year and still see students achieving their very best. Assembly was held in the Owaka Memorial Community Centre as a practice for prizegiving.

Throughout the year any student who is seen showing any of the school values, Tenacity, Care, Achievement or Service has received a TCAS Card from teachers. This week two students were awarded TCAS badges; Congratulations to Thomas Bradfield for earning his care badge, and Flynn Lietze for earning his achievement award.

The anticipated draw for TCAS cards over the last two weeks was drawn. Amelia Morrison was the winner of the $10 Four Square voucher.

This term our focus is on the value of Achievement value and we have had a lot of achievement by way of NCEA exams finishing, sporting achievements and even staff achievements. This term our focus is on the value of Achievement value.
