Daffodil Day donates dollars

From canary to lemon, gold to mustard, TCAS was a sea of yellow to show support to a worthy cause.

Every type of imaginable shade of yellow was visible on students at TCAS on Friday 2nd September. Ākonga were encouraged wear yellow non-uniform and bring a gold coin donation in support of The Cancer Society Daffodil Day. Tautoko te rā Daffodil is the major funding source for the Cancer Society, as well as an opportunity to raise awareness of cancer in New Zealand. Being held a week later did not stop the effort of our school with an impressive $143.20 raised. Ngā mihi nui ki a koe to our head students Margret Tyrell, Dannielle Mason and Izzy Jenks for taking the time to organise and support this important event.
