An egg-cellent chance to celebrate eggs, letters and the All Blacks!

Room one had a fantastic day incorporating key letters in a new way resulting in a whole lot of fun.

On Friday the 13th of October, Room 1 celebrated key letters some students are learning by having Scrambled Eggs and Toast on World Egg Day! We invited Room 2 to join us for breakfast too. Some of us had toast and eggs while some chose to have toast/bread or eggs only.  Mrs Bopp had lots of help to crack all the eggs and stir the mixture! Mrs Campbell helped make the toast!

Not only did we do this, but we also wanted to do something to celebrate the All Blacks making the quarter finals in the Rugby World Cup so we invited Room 2 and Room 3 for Egg and Spoon relays. We drew for teams (New Zealand and Ireland) and had loads of fun on the backfield shouting for our teams and the  teachers gave us all sorts of different actions to do the relays. We were busy with the final decider as both teams had drawn 2-2, but we had to leave as our exuberance was too loud for the exams, so the teachers decided that NZ won by a whisker!

We had great fun last Friday! Enjoy the photos!
