NCEA exams for 2022

NCEA exams begin on Monday the 7th of November for Years 10 - 14.
I met with senior students yesterday and issued them a copy of the NCEA exam rules and entry slips. They will need to bring the entry slip to each exam they sit; if these are lost or damaged they will need to catch up with me before the exam session. The exams will be held in The Catlins Area School Music room and are controlled by an Exam Centre Manager contracted directly to NZQA.
Students are able to study at school during their exam leave. The designated room for this is Room 15. Students will need to sign in, and are expected to study while here. Students also need to sign in and out on the day of each exam.
If students are unable to attend an exam due to an issue such as illness or bereavement, or believe that their achievement has been impaired because of this, then please make contact with me as soon as possible to discuss the derived grade process.
Students may wear mufti when here for exams, but need to be in uniform when they are on-site studying or meeting with teachers at school.
Students will need to make sure that they are registered with NZQA to check their exam results in mid to late January.
If you have any questions regarding exams, please get in touch with me.
