The students had been looking at texture, and made texture rubbings for the wings. This project fitted in with the Mini-beast project they have been doing in class.

Room 3 started off the year looking at korus and kowhaiwhai drawings. They made these wonderful kowhaiwhai bookmarks. Some students found plaiting the cords a real challenge, but we had some expert students who were great at helping others, ka pai.
