more work on class pages. Please keep sharing ...

Room 2 made moths with moving wings. These will be displayed in the school library.

The students had been looking at texture, and made texture rubbings for the wings. This project fitted in with the Mini-beast project they have been doing in class.

One of the first projects Room 2 did was to make Sunglasses to brighten up the rainy days we had been having.

Room 3 started off the year looking at korus and kowhaiwhai drawings. They made these wonderful kowhaiwhai bookmarks. Some students found plaiting the cords a real challenge, but we had some expert students who were great at helping others, ka pai.

Room 3 made artworks based on the art of Matisse. This meant drawing with scissors. Students are showing increasing confidence and control with their scissors.

Some work from Years 8&9 from Term One.

Some examples below of Year 10 work based on Comfort Food.

Students looked at an artist model/and took a photo to do their drawings from.
